New Patient Registration

We accept patients who live in postcode areas IP3 and IP4. To register we ask you to bring either an NHS medical card, or proof of residence (a utility bill or bank statement with your address on it.)

Wheelchair access is available.

If you move outside our catchment area you will be asked to register with a doctor closer to your new home.

The Orchard Street Health Centre houses two surgeries and we share weeks to register patients; however if a patient has a particular wish to register with either surgery it is your free ‘Choice’ to do so; just ask for the doctor of your choice.

We can only register patients with an NHS doctor if they are eligible for NHS treatment – there will be a charge for non NHS patients seen privately.

Allocated GP

All patients registering with this practice will be allocated a named GP on registration.

Guide to GP Services

The Royal College of General Practitioners has produced a useful guide for patients about the services on offer at GP Surgeries and how to access them.  You can download the guide below.
